Hello! We’re Cassie and Ashley, two Happily Ever After enthusiasts who created this space to share book reviews, cover reveals, new releases, and excerpts. There will also be a lot of general PDA for our favorite books and authors.

Cassie lives in Olathe, Kansas, with her husband and little boy. She’s originally from Iowa and graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics and a minor in English reading. That means she’s both a numbers person and a words person. By day she is an analyst for a bank, working all day in Excel. Cassie has been an avid reader all of her life. Her first book signing was a small event in Denver at the Tattered Cover.

 

Ashley is originally from a small town in northeast Kansas. She now resides in the Kansas City area with her husband, Taylor, and their two cats Rogue One and Obi Wan Catnobi. She loved reading as a child but lost that love sometime during college. She blames it on her required reading as a journalism major and English lit minor at Baker University. Thankfully, as an adult she rediscovered her passion for reading fiction and is now working her way through her favorite author’s backlogs. By day she works as a public information officer for local government.

 

Cassie and Ashley met through an author’s online fan group before Ashley moved to Kansas City. Cassie invited Ashley to join her very first, real-life book club and guided her through her first author signing event (a small, intimate affair called Book Bonanza). The two are kindred souls who spend a lot of time on their Kindles.
