Wow, this is one of my favorite second chance romances I’ve read in quite a while! This one does deal with some heavy/potentially triggering topics, I’ll put the content warnings at the end of my review.
This is the first book in the Madigan Mountain series, written by three separate authors. I really enjoyed the Hush Note series these authors did last year!
Sarina Bowen not only did a fantastic job of setting up the series, she really made me fall in love with the characters, and the mountain.
I could not put this book down, the pacing was fantastic. Ava and Reed have a lot of emotions for each other, and not all of them good. But I absolutely loved that one of the first things they did was communicate.
I cannot wait to see what Rebecca Yarros and Devney Perry bring to this series!
