As with the previous two books in this series, I have this passionate urge to go to a flower shop, and buy all the flowers. This book was a satisfying end to the Bennet Brother's Series arc. But don't worry we'll be able to find out the happily ever afters for the twins - Jett and Lainey - in upcoming cross over books (yay!).
Marcus and Maisie's love story revolves around their forbidden love, with both families already in the mist of fighting. It was all about fate for them. This book is a retelling of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, and I LOVED that we see Marcus being prideful, and Maisie holding on to a prejudice. My Jane Austen loving soul, just burst with joy when I got to that part.
I read this book with a smile on my face, it was absolutely fantastic. It's about the people who shape up,, or becoming the people we hate, and completely finding our happiness and joy.

It’s love at first sight when Marcus and Maisie meet. Unfortunately, their families have been feuding for generations, and love between them is forbidden. But how can you ignore the force that is love?
‘Mum’s the Word’ is the wonderful conclusion to Staci Hart’s Bennet Brothers Series. True to the rest of the series, it’s beautifully written. In fact, much of the book felt like poetry.
With most of the conflict coming from an external source, this story is low-angst with funny moments as well as beautiful ones. The pacing is a bit slow in the middle, but the conclusion is a wonderful one.
I look forward to reconnecting with the Bennet family in Hart’s other stories.
