The Bombshell Effect was my first book by Karla Sorensen. I read it a little while ago - before I started writing reviews - while this belated review is based on my (sometimes faulty) memory, what I remember for certain is enjoying this book.

I’ve spent a lot of time with the Washington Wolves lately in anticipation of Sorensen’s next book, ‘Focused,’ which debuts January 7, and with each book I’ve read, I’m reminded how fierce and fantastic Allie Sutton is. In ‘The Bombshell Effect’ we see her battling sexism in a male-dominated field and finding her way in her new role while also battling her neighbor/quarterback/enemy-turned-love Luke Pierson.

I have a soft spot for single dad romance, and hate-to-love is one of my favorite tropes. Those elements were worked perfectly into this story. This book is funny, steamy, and original.
