I’m not always a fan of love/lust at first sight, but this one worked for me!
This fast paced read, with single parent, small town romance has some excellent banter between Larke and Ronan!
Ronan is so charismatic, almost too much, but Larke finds it endearing, and it really brings out her snark! Larke is so protective of herself and Wren, and as a reader you just want to wrap them in a hug.
I loved the endearments that Ronan uses for Larke and Wren, it just made my heart melt, every single time. Seeing many of the previous characters form the earlier books was an absolute treat. I am so looking forward to the next book in the series, we got to know the hero in this book, and I can’t wait!
This book had a slight twist at the end that had my heart pounding. And I highly recommend reading the authors note at the end regarding a major plot point of the book!
