'The Marriage Effect' by Karla Sorensen is a marriage of convenience sports romance and Book 3 in the Washington Wolves Series.

đ Ashleyâs review đ
I'm a sucker for a well-written marriage of convenience, and Karla Sorensen delivers with 'The Marriage Effect.' In addition to the obvious chemistry between Paige and Logan, what I really loved about this book was Logan's sisters and all of the interactions with them. They provided moments of humor that had me laughing out loud but also poignant moments that left me with tears in my eyes.
The Marriage Effect is another beautifully written sports romantic comedy. I'm eager to see what Sorensen has for us next.
đ Blurb đ
Logan Ward doesnât want any more women in his life.
Being a football player and legal guardian to his four younger sisters means his playbook is full. However, one of them just landed in the hospital, which gives his brother the shot he needs to challenge Logan for custody.
Legal counsel says thereâs only one thing Logan can doâfind himself a wife.
Paige McKinney doesnât always think things through.
Like walking away from her modeling career without a thought of what might come next. She really doesnât think it through when she proclaims herself Loganâs fiancĂŠ at the hospital, simply because the sexyâalbeit grumpyâfootball player forgot his cell phone at a party and security wonât let her pass. Itâs not her fault it was overheard by the worst possible person.
A bargain is struck, and a fake marriage is the perfect solution. But the simple solution creates a whole new problem: theyâre not as different as they seem. The reluctant groom has fire inside him, and his impetuous bride is about to light the match.
