This book really grabbed my attention, and though it felt slow, you could always tell something unexpected was going to happen. The setting of this book really gave me wanderlust for a beach, and this book would definitely be a great beach read.
Though labeled as a thriller, I didn’t feel like I was held in suspense for most of the book. A good chunk of the book was back story, which understandably was needed to set the stage for the big reveal/twist.
I really enjoyed how this book was set up, especially the use of new articles, blog posts etc. this book did have a romantic and redemption feel to it. Readers will definitely cheer for the women in this story, they are the underdogs in a male centered world.
