In one word, this book was unique. It hard to classify how this book should be labeled. It has romance, suspense, mystery, and supernatural. It was so well done, combining all these elements. Standout first book for a new author!
My mind is still comprehending the logistics and technicalities of how Maggie was/can become invisible, so I might need to do a re-read and make sure I didn’t miss anything.
I’m very excited to read the next book in this series, and any other books Piper Sheldon writes.

It is unfathomable that this is a debut novel. ‘The Unseen’ is unlike any story I’ve read before. It’s part fantasy/paranormal and yet very realistic. The story is gripping and the characters are well-developed.
The pacing was a bit slow at times, and the story seemed a bit long, but it is very well-written. I imagine pacing is a challenge when you are world building.
Again, it’s hard to believe this is the author’s first published work. I anticipate many more great books ahead from author Piper Sheldon.
